We are a military family (Army) . Being a military family we have had several opportunities to see many fantastic parts of this great country and a few other countries as well. We have, so far, called 5 different states “home”; Virginia, Washington, California, Colorado and now North Carolina. So the saying goes, “home is where the army sends you.” I am originally from Virginia and my husband is from the golden state of California. We met while I was enlisted in the Army and we were both stationed at Ft. Bragg.
We are the proud parents of three amazing children; 12, 8 and 4. Two of which have identified special needs.
Our oldest was diagnosed with ADD just in the Fall of 2006. We have had many challenges with her over the years, so when she was diagnosed, it all made sense.
Our most challenging child is our middle child, our son. He was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4
Our days are filled with ongoing challenges, many of the same challenges your family may face. Please know that when we do speak, that I am able to understand, on some level, how difficult it may be for you and your particular situation.
