Families with children with special needs should have access to timely, unbiased and complete information about the needs of their child and

about available resources.  With such information, families can make informed decisions about services and support

Central Directory of Resources at the Family Support Network of North Carolina state office has a staff of caring, knowledgeable resource specialists who are available to provide family friendly information and resources to families and service providers.  Information available includes a wide range of topics related to special needs and working within the service system.  To speak to a resource specialist, call 800-852-0042 or visit the CDR on the web at  http://www.fsnnc.org/Services/CDR/cdr.htm

Are you in need of support from another parent?

The Support Parent Network is a network of volunteer parents whose children have a wide range of disabilities and conditions. These parents are available for one on one contact with other parents who may be facing a new diagnosis or just a new issue in their child’s life.
